SARANAC LAKE—George F. Buch, 80, of 31 Franklin Ave. died in Saranac Lake General Hospital Friday afternoon after a long illness.
He was born in Ridgewood on August 3, 1917, a son of Edward J. Buch and Caroline Ackerman.
Mr. Buch was employed for many years at Ray Brook State Hospital and transferred to Sunmount at the closing of Ray Brook.
He is survived by one sister, Dorothy Buch of Warrenville, III., and one brother, Edward J. of Florida.
A Bible Vigil was said at Keough and Son Memorial Chapels Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
A Mass of the Resurrection was conducted today at 11:15 a.m., with the Rev. C. J. McAvoy, celebrant.
Interment was in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
