SARANAC LAKE - Mrs. Gladys R. Brown, 60, a lifelong resident, here, died Saturday evening at her home.
She was born in Saranac Inn, the daughter of John and Mina (Ashlaw) Ryan.
She was a World War II veteran.
For many years, Mrs. Brown had been a medical secretary for the late Dr. Francis B. Trudeau, Sr., then Dr. Francis B. Trudeau, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Bernard of Saranac Lake; a daughter, Linda of Saranac Lake; two brothers, Leonard of Albany and Carl of Bloomingdale and several nieces and nephews.
She will repose at the Keough and Sons, Inc., Memorial Chapels, where" friends may call today at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and there will be a Bible vigil service at 7:15 tonight.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard's Church, with the Rev. Thomas Driscoll officiating.
Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
