Mrs. Helen M. Scopes of 32 Church Street, Saranac Lake, died Saturday, October 31 at the Saranac Lake General Hospital.
Mrs. Scopes was the daughter of Charles and Jennie Lewis Dean and was born in Quebec, Canada on July 23, 1885.
She is survived by her husband Architect William Henry Scopes whom she married in 1914. She is also survived by three brothers, George Dean of Ottawa, Canada, and William and Ernest of Montreal, Canada.
Mrs. Scopes was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and had been a resident of Saranac Lake since 1911.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. today at the home at 32 Church Street where the body will repose until 11 a.m. Tuesday when services will be held there with Rev. W. O. Peter Hill officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
