SARANAC LAKE - John F. Bullock, 72. of 20 Church St, Saranac Lake died Thursday, Nov. 13, 1997, at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

Born March 25, 1925 in Oswego, he was the son of Floyd and Bertha (Buskey) Bullock.

He was married to the former Olive McCormick DeMar on June 21, 1950 in St. Bernard's Church by Father Henry McFadden. She predeceased him on Oct. 9, 1 992.

Mr. Bullock came to Saranac Lake at the age of 21, and worked at the Lake Kushaqua Power House, and later at the Trudeau Sanatorium, Sunmount Hospital, and the General Hospital of Saranac Lake as head engineer for 30 years until his retirement in 1986.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and served during World War II at the Battle of the Bulge.

He was a member of St. Bernard's Church.

Survivors include a step-daughter, Alice Church of Pittsburgh, a granddaughter, Mrs. Allen (Kathleen) Fessette of Morrisonville; a grandson, Thomas Church of Anchorage, Alaska and four great-grandsons

Funeral arrangements are through the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home. There will be no calling hours. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:15 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard's Church with the Rev. Timothy Soucy officiating. Interment will take place in St. Bernard's Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Adirondack Medical Center in care of the FortuneKeough Funeral Home.
