SARANAC LAKE - John J. McKillip, 76, a lifelong resident of this community, died Thursday at the Saranac Lake General Hospital.
He was born in Alderbrook, the son of William T. and Margaret Flynn McKillip. He married the former Mary R. Riley, who survives him here.
Mr. McKillip was employed as a caretaker at Camp Iroquois.
Other survivors include two grandchildren, Jamie and Molly of Saranac Lake and several nieces and nephews. Another son, John F., died in 1973.
Remains repose at Keough and Sons Memorial Chapels where friends may call tomorrow from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Bible Vigil will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 11:15 a.m. Monday, St. Bernard's Church, the Rev. Thomas Driscoll officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Bloomingdale.
