L. D. Branch (1862-1927) was a brother of Augustine S. Branch.

L. D. Branch died suddenly Tuesday. afternoon at the home of his niece, Mrs. Bertha Partridge. The funeral was at the house Thursday at 2 p. m., Rev. H. M. Hall officiating. He was buried in the Norton cemetery. There was a large funeral to show their respects for the deceased who had been a life-long resident of this place. The floral offerings were many. He leaves one brother and several nieces and nephews who will miss him. Among those from out of town to the services were Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Branch, Howard Branch, Mr. and Mrs. L. K. Havens of Upper Jay; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Branch, Mr. and Mrs. George Parker and son of Schroon Lake; Cliff Havens, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Branch of Saranac Lake and Irene Branch Turner of Yonkers.
