Lamp Post Tavern Robbed Sunday A.M.
About $20 in small change and a few six-packs of beer were stolen from the Lamp Post Tavern on Broadway early Sunday morning by a person or persons who gained entry through a window in the rear of the bar. Kenneth A. Wilson, who is hired to clean and wax the floors, discovered the loss when he arrived for work at 7 in the morning. The window leading into the men's wash room was broken.
Saranac Lake Police are continuing the investigation of the crime.
