Lillian Coffin Wicker was a prominent civic and church leader. She was Dr. Wicker's second wife.

FUNERAL RITES TOMORROW FOR MRS. L. WICKER
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the home at 86 Park avenue for Mrs. Lillian C. Wicker, 78, prominent civic and church leader of this village who died at 3:15 o'clock yesterday morning at her residence.
Mrs. Wicker hid been in failing health for several months. The Rev. Alvin B. Gurley, pastor of the Presbyterian church, will officiate at the rites and interment will be in the family plot in Pine Ridge cemetery.
A resident of Saranac Lake for more than 50 years, Mrs. Wicker throughout her lifetime here had taken an active part in the affairs of Saranac Lake. She was a leader in the women's activities of the Presbyterian church and in the civic organizations of the village.
She was the first president of the Auxiliary of the Saranac Lake General hospital and was secretary and a charter member of the Village Improvement Society. Mrs. Wicker was also a charter member of the Saranac Lake Lend-a-Hand society and served as general chairman for the organization's annual campaign last week.
Mrs. Wicker was born March 8, 1870 in Hyde Park, the daughter of the late Henry T. and Julia A. Jones Coffin. On March 31, 1900 she was married to Dr. Charles F. Wicker in Denver, Col. Her husband passed away here about 15 years ago.
Surviving her are a grandson, David Palmer, of Potsdam and three great grandchildren. The body will repose at the home until time of services tomorrow.
