SARANAC LAKE - Pascal A. Fina, Jr., 57, of 10 1/2 Mountain Rd., died Friday evening at Barry Fletcher Hospital in Burlington, Vt.
He was born Nov. 30, 1919, in Brooklyn, a son of Pasquale and Lena Bollus Fina.
Mr. Fina survived by two daughters, Mrs. Maryann Carm of Highland Falls, Mrs. Gail Gokey of Stoney Point; four brothers, Donald and Ronald of Saranac Lake; Michael of California, Joseph of Newburg; three sisters, Margaret Orlando of Long Island, Barbara LaFante of Bayonne. N.J., Patricia Simpson of Saranac Lake; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Military Retirees Association. He retired from the Army in 1960, at the rank of First Lieutenant and had recently been employed by Niagara Mohawk. He had been a resident of Saranac Lake for ten years.
Funeral services were said this morning at 9:30 at the Fortune Funeral Home with Fr. C.J. McAvoy, pastor of St. Bernard's Church, officiating. Interment was in Pine Ridge Cemetery. Friends wishing to remember Mr. Fina, may make donations to the Humane Society
