Percy Sadler

Percy Sadler, 66, a life long resident of Saranac Lake who made his home at 5 Virginia St., died yesterday in the Albany V.A. Hospital.

He was born on May 30, 1903, the son of Robert and [illegible] Murphy Sadler. Mr. Sadler was a carpenter by trade. He served in World War II in the army and was a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of the third degree Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Sadler is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Leo (Jane) Jette and Mrs. Bert (Myrtal) Williams of Saranac Lake; and Mrs. James (Marie) McCartney of Tupper Lake.  Two nieces also survive.

Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home where there will be a Veteran's service at 7:30 on Tuesday evening followed by the Rosary at 8 o'clock.

A funeral mass will be said at 10:00 on Wednesday morning in the Saranac Lake Methodist Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
