Sara del Prado was a TB patient and the oldest daughter in a family who came with her to Saranac Lake from Havana, Cuba, in 1918: her father Felix, a congressional representative, her mother, eight siblings, two aunts and three servants.. In 1920 they were staying in the house at 14 Helen Street. One of those family members is likely to have been Caridad del Prado. Another may have been Alicia Milanes del Prado, who met and married Alfredo Gonzalez in Saranac Lake in 1926.
