SHERIDAN DAVID MACALLISTER.
MacALLISTER.—At Loon Lake. N.Y., on Sunday. Dec. 10, 1899, Dr. Sheridan David MacAllister, aged 31 years.
Dr. MacAllister was born in Warren. Vt., in Sept., 1868, attended school at the State Military College in Montpelier, and graduated from the Medical College of the University of Vermont in 1895. He then located in Bloomingdale, Essex county, N.Y., and soon built up a fine practice. In November, 1896, he married Miss Sadie Helen Littlejohn, youngest daughter of James W. Littlejohn. Failing health compelled him to move to Colorado Springs, Col., about a year ago, where for a time, the salubrious climate seemed to benefit him, and he again built up a lucrative practice. The benefit of his health was only temporary, however, and he returned to Loon Lake last spring, from which time he failed steadily in health until death came to relieve his sufferings.
Dr. MacAllster was a skillful physician and a good man in the various walks of life. He made friends easily and kept them; a wide circle of friends and acquaintances will mourn his untimely death. He was buried at Loon Lake on Tuesday, Dec. 12, with Masonic rites, many members of the, Masonic fraternity being present from Malone, Saranac Lake, Bloomingdale and Plattsburgh.
