Thaddeus J. Kokosinski

SARANAC LAKE — Thaddeus J. Kokosinski, 76, of 35 Charles St., died Monday, Dec. 25, 1989, at the general hospital here.

He was born March 31, 1913, in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of Stanley and Helen (Topolinski) Kokosinski.

He worked for many years as a baker at Budjinski Baking Co, of Bayonne, New Jersey, retiring in 1974.  He moved here in 1976.

Mr. Kokosinski is survived by his wife, the former Julia Soliwoda, whom he married Nov. 16, 1946; two daughters, Mrs. Janet Fong of Shingle Springs, Calif, and Joan Geryck of Middletown, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Konopka of Patterson, N.J. and Helen Fosello of Jersey City; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held 7-9 tonight and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Fortune Funeral Home here. A Bible Vigil will be held at 7:30 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:15 Thursday morning at St. Bernard's Church, with the Rev. Douglas Comstock, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in May.

Donations in Mr. Koksinski's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
