Vern Carr Dies At His Home
Vern Carr, who had been an automobile dealer in Saranac Lake, died early this morning at his home at 10 Leona Street.
Mr. Carr was born December 22, 1909 in Wilton, the son of James and Phoebe Duncan Carr. He lived in Saranac Lake for the past 11 years operating a Dodge-Plymouth agency first as Carr and Dyer and later Carr and Alden. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 1508.
Survivors are his wife, the former Louise Washburn; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Morriseey of Saratoga Springs and Miss Sandra Carr of Saranac Lake. He also, leaves a sister, Mrs. Viola Wimett of Saratoga Springs; two brothers, Albert of Saratoga Springs, Earl of Beacon Hill and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
