SARANAC LAKE - Veronica S. (Bonnie) Adler, 94, formerly of 40 Margaret SL, Saranac Lake, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 1994 at the Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh.
Born Aug. 18, 1900 in Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of Horace and Johanna (Wallace) Stringham.
Mrs. Adler had been a resident of Saranac Lake for most of her life, moving here in 1903. She had been employed as a bookkeeper at Kennedy's Store in Saranac Lake until 1929. She was predeceased by her husband, Max Adler, who died in 1964.
Survivors include her close friend, Mrs. Elizabeth Hartmann Nilles of Lake Park, Minn.
Calling hours will be held at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:15 a.m. at St. Bernard's Church with the Rev. Timothy Soucy, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
Memorial donations may be made to the Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department Rescue Squad.
