Wilfred K. Stacey was a World War II veteran; he was seriously wounded in the fighting on Iwo Jima.  He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stacey of 141 Main Street.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at 9 a. m. Friday at St. Bernard's Church for Wilfred Stacey, 37, of Saranac Lake who died in an automobile accident Monday afternoon near Warrensburg.

Friends may call at Mr. Stacey's home at 29 East Pine Street. A Rosary Service will be said at his home at 8 p. m. Thursday, a veterans' service will be held there at 7:30. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.

Mr. Stacey is survived by his father, Howard, and three brothers, Francis, Harold and Earl, all of Saranac Lake, and three sisters, Mrs. Catherine Folino, of Staten Island , Mrs. Joyce Morin of East Hampton Mass, and Mrs. Gladys Shaheen of Tupper Lake. His mother was the late Florida Rushia Stacey.
