Army Pvt. Willard H. Wamsganz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Wamsganz, of 16 Pine Street, recently participated in dedication ceremonies for the new Verdun-Rozelier Airfield near Verdun, France. Wamsganz, a clerk-typist in 7804th Army Unit, entered Army in Oct. 1954 and was last stationed at Fort Eustis, Va. The 19-year-old soldier attended Saranac Lake High School.
