Samurai Japanese Restaurant is a Japanese restaurant located in The Commons, They serve various Teriyaki, Tempura, noodle dishes, sushi and sashimi. Occasionally they will serve specials that seem out of place, such as pad thai. They also have a karaoke room for private parties.

2009-04-05 01:51:44   The sushi isn't bad, but I wouldn't go back during regular hours just for sushi here, Id say Plum Tree does a better job in this department. The tempura was not so great, greasy and the batter wasn't airy enough. On the other hand their Saturday night $5.99 sake bomb is a fairly good deal, considering you get a bear and enough sake for several shots (Id say at least 5 per order). Overall, if you find yourself in the commons past 10:30pm this place is decent enough for a late night stop, but not good enough for me to eat here during normal dining hours. —MattHh
