Join us for the launch of our Latitudes and Longitudes digital storytelling tour, Made in Kitchener: Personal Stories From Our Industrial Past, on Sunday, June 24 at 12:30 p.m. Ten sites around downtown Kitchener. Stories accessed by smart phones. We provide the context with a guided tour with experienced historical tour guides.

The launch also includes a facilitated storytelling session on the adult coffeehouse stage with Paula Costa of Dragon's Kitchen blog; Paula recreated the last first-class dinner served on the Titanic the night it sank 100 years ago. Carolyn Blackstock's blog, 366 Days with the Berlin Cookbook, cooks up one recipe from the 1906 cookbook every day for the year; find out who the cooks were behind the recipes, and hear Carolyn's story of the flops and successes.

Don't forget our story geocache, either: N43.27.662, W8.29.233. Take a story, leave a story. We'll read yours (if you let us) in between set changes at the festival.

Join local artists at our Anywhere Gallery, Everywhere Artist site near the children's stage. Led by Cristin Osborne, the kids (and you!) can make art and become part of one big outdoor gallery exhibition through the weekend.
