About: Born in 1948, Dick Dewees served as the Mayor of Lompoc for many terms until his death in July of 2009. An outgoing and active member of the Lompoc community, he was markedly involved with Lompoc Foursquare Church and, in earlier years, with Lompoc Civic Theatre.
