The Marquette and Huron Mountain Railroad was formed on December 1, 1962, as a steam-powered passenger tourist railroad. It operated on the former Lake Superior and Ishpeming Railroad "Big Bay Branch" line from Presque Isle Depot in Marquette to Big Bay Depot in Big Bay. It has since ceased operations.
