A Whole Foods Market is opening in Mississuaga City Centre for 2011. Its being built in the parking lot area outside of Wal-Mart by Square One shopping centre.
According to Whole Foods Website:
The stores will reflect the company’s mission of supporting sustainable agriculture and the environment by featuring natural, organic foods, which are free of artificial ingredients and hydrogenated fats. With a focus on fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, specialty items, high-quality meats and poultry, everyday pantry staples and sustainable seafood, the store will appeal to a variety of customers ranging from the health conscious to serious gourmands.
While not cheap Whole Foods is generally recognized as a higher end supermarket some people joke it should be called whole paycheck. If you've ever watched Top Chef on the food network the chef's are always shopping at a Whole Foods Market.
On Sundays from 8am to 1130am Whole Foods has an all you can eat breakfast buffet for $9.99.
