Betts Brook (formerly Betts Pond Brook and Mill Brook as early as 1657 after John Marsh's mill, and Old Mill Brook as early as 1694 also Beaver Dam Ditch) is the name of the brook which flows from Riccis Pond and Woods Pond in the Woods Pond neighborhood into the Norwalk River near the Green. It crosses Wall Street at Brook Street. See also Beaver Dam and Betts' Fulling Mill.
