Wilson Cove (historically Elys Neck Harbor and Wantwood's Cove named for Jeremiah Wantwood who had a house on the west bank in 1740) is the historical name of the inlet between Wilson Point and Rowayton. The name dates back at least as early as 1871. The creek which flows into it was historically called Elys Neck Creek, now Rhoton Brook. 1
