Matt Nichols is the first ever Policy Director for Infrastructure and Transportation.
Mayor Libby Schaaf announced his appointment on On Wednesday, March 4, 2015. In this role, Nichols will be the Mayor’s primary liaison to City staff and external agencies responsible for planning, project development and delivery, and funding of infrastructure and transportation projects. Nichols formerly held a similar position with the city of Berkeley.
