Description

The Confederation Trail, Prince Edward Island's tip-to-tip trail, was developed on abandoned railway lines and takes you into wetlands and hardwood groves, through quaint villages and along sparkling rivers. It is easily accessible from many locations on the island, and it runs right through Charlottetown, beside UPEI and can be used for easy in town commuting (Cycling or Walking) during times of Construction or if you want to live Car Free.

In the winter within Charlottetown the trail is plowed, though it doesn't get the same priority as city streets, so after a big snow don't expect it to be clear for a day or two.
