History
The formosa tea house set up shop in the early 2000s in Charlottetown and for a lot of people it was the tipping point from what the city used to be like and towards what it is now. They were where you went for out-of-the-ordinary snacks and beverages and a relaxed atmosphere where they didn't mind if you worked for hours on your laptop using their internet connection. They have sadly not been very busy the last few times I've gone there which is too bad, their menu has also not changed much. They are still the perfect "working late, need to get something to keep me going" take-out place for downtown office / tech workers.
