Hiking guidelines:

Know your hike, where you're going, the weather forecast, and what you'll be needing. Always bring enough water for both the ascent and descent. Depending on when you leave it's a good idea to bring a light just in case it takes longer than you plan. As a general rule, don't wear flip flops. You may want to bring some snacks and some basic first aid supplies. Bring a jacket. Etc.

Y Mount - You can either stop when you get to the Y or continue on the trail at the top of the Y to the top of the mountain Rock Canyon Provo Canyon Bridal Veil Falls - in Provo Canyon. Most people tend to just walk from the parking lot on the bike/walking path to the falls. You can climb up it, too, though. Big Springs - also in Provo Canyon, go to Vivian Park then past it up that road and keep going. This is a relatively popular place to ride mountain bikes. It's not that steep. Squaw Peak - From Rock Canyon trail there is a sign Mount Timpanogos - the midnight hike is really popular, when you leave at 12 and get up there by the time the sun rises. Some people slide down the glacier at the top, some people hike back down. This hike takes a long time and is quiet strenuous. Slate Canyon
