The Wilmoore Cafe is a coffee shop located in a charming two-story historic building at 223 S. Wilmington Street, in the heart of what has been a thriving commercial district in downtown Raleigh for more than a century. During the late 1800s and early 1900s the site served as a wholesale merchandise shop, a saloon, a grocery and an eating house. The existing building was constructed in 1917.
