Old Tavern is a friendly neighborhood bar located in midtown Sacramento. A favorite with locals because of its low key atmosphere, greasy bar food, and 22oz ice cold bottled beers. Many first time visitors to the Old Tavern are intimidated by the rag tag look of the crowd. However, after just a few minutes inside most visitors feel right at home and are welcomed by the "regulars." One can spend hours at Old Tavern shooting pool, playing shuffle board, or relaxing in the large outdoor patio area. Love animals but can't have a pet? Several resident cats are always hanging around looking for attention.
