Shanghai Garden is located at the corner of McKinley Park in East Sacramento. They have a vegetarian menu with numerous chinese dishes such as kung pao chicken and sweet and sour pork which they make using fake meat. Even though their Web site incorrectly states on the front page that they deliver for free within a 5 mile radius, they will only deliver within 3 miles or "downtown," depending on the drivers they have that day.

2007-08-15 20:27:55   The service was great when we went earlier. The pot-stickers were pretty good, as was the rest of the food. We went on a Wednesday night and the place was a little less than half filled, so it was easy to have a conversation with a small background buzz. It looks nice inside, which adds to the ambiance. —EdWins

2008-05-23 20:37:39   This place sucks. Their web site states they deliver within a 5 mile radius, and yet they will not deliver to Tahoe Park, Oak Park, River Park, Land Park or Curtis Park. I think they mean a 2 or 3 miles radius, but lying in advertising must be working for them. I live 3 miles from them, and they wouldn't deliver to me after I had to listen to them yell in my ear, hungry, for about 2 minutes solid. I would NEVER eat here, EVER. —faithmuhl
