Description of Work
The sculpture "Shiva's Heaven" by Peter Hanson, was purchased and installed by the City in 1993. According to the artist, the sculpture was purchased with a base which was integral to the piece. Sometime prior to the year 2000, the city put in a new base to conform with the downtown plan. The artist did not want to have his name associated with the piece as it is currently sited.
