State Farm Bank is a federally charted bank insured with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Only a few agent can act as a banker. The address above is the corporate office. For the nearest bank agent, just call the toll free number. They have many locations in Santa Cruz County. The hours refer to the agents regular hours. The 877 number and banking site are available anytime. State Farm Bank is owned by State Farm Insurance. As an insurance company, they have offered loans since they came to the state. Any insurance agent has CD's, Individual Retirement Accounts, and investment options. As a Bank, they now offer a Visa credit card, checking accounts, bill paying and ATM access.

State Farm Bank has over $13 billion in bank assets. While it operates like a bank there are a few differences. Foremost is the problem with cash. They can accept direct deposit, checks, and money orders. You mail deposits to Illinois. They cannot handle cash. The agents cannot accept deposits. For an ATM they use other ATM machine and they credit your account if there is a fee. Also, there is no safe deposit box service.
