The Tea Cup Restaurant was a chinese restaurant with a cocktail lounge on the second floor of the old Flatiron building. The main entrance to the place was the well known red staircase from Pacific Avenue. The restaurant closed in October 1989 because of extensive damage to the building's structure after the Loma Prieta earthquake.
