Ride the Ducks transports tourists around Seattle in amphibious landing crafts developed by the U.S. Army during World War II.

The Ducks are annoying.

I watched them enter Lake Union, and every time, they'd play the sound bite from Back to the Future, "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads". Then the tour guide would say, "Alright, do you guys want to go in fast or slow?" and no matter what the people said, the tour guide would say, "Alright, we're going in slow".

The Ducks are also unsafe.

A motorcyclist was hit by a Duck on October 10, 2011. He later filed a lawsuit.

From seattletimes.com:

On Dec. 31, 2010, and again last June 11, different Duck drivers rear-ended passenger vehicles, the first at Third Avenue and Pike Street and the second at Aurora Avenue North and Denny Way. No one was injured but both Duck drivers told officers they didn't see the cars because of the height of their own vehicles, according to the collision reports.

From seattleweekly.com:

"It's a broken business model," Bulzomi (attorney of motorcyclist) says of Ride-the-Ducks, contending that tasking one person with driving, entertainment, and tour-guide duties - as is typical of the Ride-the-Ducks experience - asks for trouble.
