The Alemany Flea Market is the only free outdoors antique and second hand collectibles market
in San Francisco. The first Sunday of the month is the community garage sale, when anyone
can rent a stall for $45 and sell their unwanted treasures garage sale style. The range of
goods is always interesting and diverse, and the prices are usually flexible within reason.
It's A great place for folks who like to dig for unknown treasures, or for the focused
collector who knows what they are looking for.. Books, jewelry, trinkets, glassware,
vintage clothing, decorations, records / CD's / DVD's, musical instruments, hifi / stereo
gear, art, furniture, bric-a-brac, and much much more. Some of the vendors who sell
here regularly get their merchandise from storage locker auctions, so you never know
what they will have. It's always different. There is always something for everybody at
this market, and it's highly recommended to all.
The flea market is always FREE, and there is FREE onsite parking.
The closest BART station is GLEN PARK where you can connect with MUNI bus
line "23 Monterey" which will take you to the flea market. (Get off at the Crescent St.
@ Putnam St, stop which borders the parking lot of the market.
On Saturdays, this place is home to the Alemany Farmers Market.
