Community Music Center (CMC) was founded in 1921 with the mission of making music accessible to all people, regardless of their financial status. During the 2013-2014 school year, CMC served over 2,300 students of all ages, levels and financial backgrounds. CMC also has hundreds of free and low-cost concerts throughout the year in its Capp Street Concert Hall.
