Looking East from Corona Heights Park on a damp day in February 2009

Park Location
Between Flint Street and Roosevelt Way, bounded by 16th Street to the south

Corona Heights Park is a park located in the Castro. The park has a rocky summit which is visible from many parts of the city. From the Mission, Castro, or downtown, the peak of the park can be seen just south of Buena Vista Park and north of Twin Peaks. Corona Heights is accessible by foot off of Flint Street. There is a small museum in the park (about halfway up the hill) called the Randall Museum. The summit of Corona Heights has no trees (unlike Buena Vista) but provides a great view of the city and the bay.
