Edwin "Ed" Mah Lee (Chinese: 李孟賢; May 5, 1952 – December 12, 2017) was an American politician and attorney. He served as the 43rd Mayor of San Francisco, from 2011 until his death in 2017. He was the first Asian American to hold the office.
