Mercy Housing Development is a new affordable housing project currently being constructed at 1180 4th St. in Mission Bay.
In an article about the building, CurbedSF writes: "When completed this complex will feature 150 one- two- and three-bedroom units of affordable housing, including 25 units reserved for formerly homeless families. The remainder of the units will be awarded to families with incomes of 60% the median average or less. 11,000 sq. ft. of retail will line Fourth Street, helping create a pedestrian-friendly strip. Additional building amenities are a mix of what one would expect in a Mission Bay project and a supportive housing building: rooftop garden, exercise room, day care center, community building, and on-site supportive services. Expect to see this building come online in mid-2014."
