SLO Freecycle is an email list devoted to the free exchange of things. People can post descriptions of items they want to give away or items they are searching for and then arrange to give or receive such items. It is part of The Freecycle Network, which coordinates thousands of similar programs in regions around the world. “Freecycle is a movement of people keeping stuff out of landfills while building a sense of community.” You must be a member to participate, but membership is free.

It had over 1,400 members as of March 2021.
