Sonoma Valley Computer Users Group

Since 1991, Sonoma Valley Computer Group (SVCG) has been a leader in the advancement of educating the community in computer technology and telecommunications. Today the Sonoma Valley Computer Group is a major contributor and supporter of computer education; in particular, SVCG has had an incredible impact on members' interest in the Internet.

SVCG offers monthly meetings where guest speakers talk about a variety of topics ranging from internet, email, how-to get connected; genealogy; financial management; graphics design; word processing, page layout and presentation programs; to how to put a newsletter together, to name a few. Meetings start at 10AM and run until 11:30AM.

WiredSonoma

Technically, WiredSonoma is not a user group; however, it is a virtual online/offline organization built around a social network designed to bring together people who work with or in technology in Sonoma Valley. WireSonoma hosts socials, training classes and tweetups where attendees are encouraged the explore the application of technology in their personal and professional lives. The website is built as a social network where members are encouraged to build their professional network in an effort to utilize our local resources whenever possible.
