History
The Santa Rosa & Carquinez Railroad constructed 35.70 miles between Santa Rosa and Napa Junction. Grading was begun at Santa Rosa on August 15, 1887 and all work was completed by May 31, 1888. It would appear the SR&C never operated its own line as it was acquired by Northern Railway before work was completed. It is also likely the track was leased and operated by the Southern Pacific Company as the NWP lines were under such contract starting April 1, 1885.
Lines and Depots
The railway had one line which ran from Santa Rosa to Napa Junction
