Mark Byrne is a member of the Ferguson City Council, representing Ward 1. His biography from the Ferguson City Council website is:

Council member Mark J. Byrne has lived in the North County area since 2001 after he graduated from law school. Mark graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa in 1995. Later he earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2001. Mark is currently the managing partner in the Law Offices of Fischer & Byrne, L.L.C.

 

Mark is an active member of the Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Ferguson. In addition, he volunteers much of his time to the local chapter of the Junior Chamber of Commerce and he is a proud supporter of the Center for Women and Transition, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women coming from the penitentiary be reunited with their families, obtain employment, and fight drug addiction.

 

Mark’s focus this term will be on building stronger neighborhood associations, making sure that Ferguson remains fiscally responsible, and working with our new police chief to ensure strong and safe neighborhoods in Ferguson.
