The  University Park YMCA is located on the Summa Akron City Hospital campus.  It was built in 2011 and offers indoor swimming for laps, a swim play area for children and a separate rehabilitation pool, a full basket ball court, three racket-ball/hand-ball courts,  a fitness area including free weights and tons of cardio equipment, there is also a walking only track above the basketball court.
