Beautiful Bondi BeachBondi Beach is Sydney's most famous and iconic beach.   Bondi is the most urban of Sydney's beaches and is bounded by the most densely populated municipality in Australia, being the Waverley Council area.

Bondi beach is famous for it's surf breaks and just as famous for people watching particularly on summer weekends. Two Surf Life Saving Clubs patrol Bondi Beach, the Bondi Surf LifeSaving Club which is located adjacent to Bondi Pavilion and the North Bondi Surf Life Saving ClubBondi Beach & Ben Buckler HeadlandBondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club

The beach is also patrolled by professional Lifeguards who have now shot to fame in the TV reality series 'Bondi Rescue'.

Bondi PavilionOther famous landmarks at Bondi Beach include the Bondi Pavilion, home of the Tamarama Rock Surfers, the Sydney Short Film Festival and many other arts, cultural and children's events including Festival of the Winds, a kite festival which is held in September every year. 

The outdoor gym at the north end of Bondi Beach is also popular workout area, though not quite as showy as the Venice Beach equivalent.  Give your muscles a workout at the outdoor gym

There is a shallow ocean pool at the North end of Bondi and this end of the beach is popular with families. Bondi North end pool is great for the little ones A small park and barbeque facilities can also be found just above the north boardwalk, there are four more electric barbeques next to the childrens playground on the front of the beach.

Icebergs Pool on a cleaning dayThe famous Bondi Icebergs pool and building are located on the southern end of Bondi Beach.  The Icebergs Pool is used by the Icebergs Club members and members of the public can also access the pool for a fee.  The Icebergs Club is located in the clifttop building above the pool and is the fine dining restaurant, Icebergs.
