Located west of Centerville Road near Pimlico Drive, and east of Thomasville Road near Kerry Forest Parkway
The streets of Killearn Acres are named after Kentucky Derby winners from 1878 (Day Star) to 1969 (Majestic Prince). Thru-streets are “Trails” and cul-de-sacs are “Courts.” Pimlico Drive, winding through the southern half of the neighborhood and also the name of the two parks, is named after the thoroughbred horse racetrack in Baltimore, Maryland, most famous for hosting the Preakness Stakes. Man O War Trail and park are named after the American Thoroughbred who is considered by many as one of the greatest racehorses of all time. |
