Our Neighborhood

Melody Hills is a diverse neighborhood in terms of both housing and residents.  Homes include both one- and two-story moderately sized houses.  Residents range from singles to families with children.  On a typical day, a drive through peaceful Melody Hills will include glimpses of residents walking their dogs, children playing in yards, and homeowners tending to their lawns and gardens.

The neighborhood has an optional Neighborhood Watch Association that helps keeps residents informed regarding safety and security issues.  The coordinator keeps in touch with Melody Hills' assigned officer at the Tallahassee Police Department.  There are no dues required to participate in the association, and residents who choose to join the email list receive monthly updates in addition to other more time-sensitive communications as needed.  The association invites all neighbors to periodic social gatherings to welcome newcomers and to allow everyone to become better acquainted.
