Whimsie's Bakery

Whimsies is a cottage food bakery owned and operated in Monticello FL by two aspiring young bakers Jill Smith and Leigha Kelly-Knight.

Whimsies sells a variety of baked goods such as the classic chocolate chip cookie and vanilla cupcake which are a staples to any bakery, while also adding some spice to their menu with the Chai tea cupcake and zucchini muffins.

Menu is subject to change each week to help better the taste buds of Tallahassee.

Whimsie's is found mostly at the Downtown Farmer's Market at Monroe & Park on Saturdays. There you will find them getting out their cupcakes and cookies and other tasteful treats to share, lining them up perfectly and smiling as they answer each question about "what kind is that"? They always have a cookie & cupcake of the week. The cookie of the week tends to be experimental in nature, one week it was the first time trying chili powder in the cocoa. And it was a hit!
