The Standart-Simmons Hardware Company building at 34 S. Erie Street was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. The former home of a hardware company whose products were shipped to six states, the 1906 building is noted for its unusual triangular shape. This Warehouse District property was recently restored and is now home to The Standart Lofts.
